I can knit a little (am recovering from shoulder surgery), so cast on a scarf for a friend yesterday. It's a rayon/sparkly/mohair blend -- black with vivid colors. It kindof shimmers, and is pretty! I'm hoping it will end up about 48 inches long (it's 4 inches right now).
